Recommended by our practitioners for discoloured, thickened or brittle nails caused by fungus. Apply to the nail, around the edges and the skin around it.

Why it absorbs so well
Many antifungal liquids are suspensions, where the active particles float in the liquid and can settle out.
In Formula 3 the active ingredient is dissolved in jojoba oil using Tetra's patented process, so the two can't separate. As the oil absorbs into the skin, it carries the antifungal straight to the infected area.
Three steps, twice a day
Clean and dry
Wash the affected area and dry it thoroughly, especially between the toes. Give your feet time to air before putting on socks.
Apply a thin layer
Morning and night, or as your practitioner advises. Applying it after a shower is best, when the skin absorbs most.
Keep feet dry
Change socks and shoes when they get damp, choose breathable footwear and moisture-wicking socks, and keep going for as long as advised.
Before you use it: if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, check with a pharmacist first. Formula 3 has no essential oils, so reactions are rare, but if you notice redness or itching, stop using it and contact us. For external use only.

Does Formula 3 work on fungal nails?
Yes. Our practitioners recommend it for fungal nails and have seen good results. Nails grow slowly, so expect to apply it every day for several months while the healthy nail grows through.
How do I know it's athlete's foot?
Typical signs are itching, peeling or cracking skin, often between the toes. Other conditions can look very similar, so if you're not sure, or it hasn't improved with treatment, it's worth having one of our practitioners take a look.
How long will a bottle last?
A bottle typically lasts three to six months with regular use, because you only need a thin layer.
Can I use it to prevent athlete's foot?
Yes. Many people keep using it if they're prone to athlete's foot, especially alongside Clean Sweep for their shoes.
Is it greasy or scented?
It's a light oil that absorbs quickly, and it's free from dyes, fragrance and essential oils.
