Welcome to stepright.ie (the “Site”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all visitors, customers, and purchases made through our website.
By using this Site and/or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We do our best to ensure all product details, images, pricing, and stock information are accurate.

- packaging or product details may change from time to time
- we may update or correct information without notice
All content on this Site is for general information only and should not be treated as medical advice.
4. Foot health disclaimer
Step Right sells footwear, orthotics, and foot-related products designed to support comfort and movement.
Please note:
- results vary from person to person
- no product can guarantee relief from pain or medical conditions
- if you have a medical condition, severe pain, diabetes-related foot issues, or poor circulation, you should seek advice from a GP, podiatrist, or other qualified professional
5. Pricing
All prices shown on the Site are in Euro (€) unless stated otherwise.
Prices may change at any time. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout at the time you place your order.
If VAT applies, it will be included or shown at checkout depending on your store setup.
6. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy products from us.
Your order is accepted once:
- payment has been successfully processed, and
- you receive an order confirmation email
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where:
- an item is out of stock
- there is a pricing or listing error
- we suspect fraud or unauthorised activity
- we cannot verify payment or delivery details
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund.
7. Payments
Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its approved payment providers.
We do not store full card details on our systems.
8. Delivery
Delivery options, costs, and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.
Please note:
- delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed
- delays can happen due to couriers, weather, peak periods, or other events outside our control
- it is your responsibility to ensure your delivery details are correct before ordering
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempt, additional delivery charges may apply to resend the order.
9. Returns, refunds, and exchanges
Returns Policy
Online Purchases
We offer a 30-day returns policy on all items purchased online.
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of receiving it for a refund or exchange.
Items must be:
- Unworn and in original condition
- In original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Please note:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in-store may be returned within 7 days of purchase for an exchange or credit note.
Items must be:
- Unworn and in original condition
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Please note:
- Refunds are not offered for change of mind on in-store purchases.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
Your statutory rights are not affected.
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@stepright.ie and include:
- your order number
- photos (where relevant)
- a short description of the issue
We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
10. Sizing and fit
Footwear sizing and fit can vary between brands and models.
We recommend:
- checking sizing guides where available
- contacting us if you’re unsure before ordering
- trying footwear indoors on a clean surface before deciding to keep them
We are not responsible for discomfort caused by incorrect sizing, unsuitable product choice, or changes in your foot condition over time.
11. Promotions and discount codes
Discount codes and promotions may:
- be time-limited
- apply only to certain products or categories
- not be combined unless stated
- be withdrawn or changed at any time
Promotional Free Gift Policy
From time to time, Step Right may include a free promotional item with a qualifying purchase.
Where a free promotional item is included as part of a promotion, the free item forms part of the overall offer and is conditional on the qualifying product being kept by the customer.
If the qualifying product is returned for a refund, the free promotional item must also be returned. The item must be unused and returned in its original packaging.
If the promotional item is not returned, or if it has been used or cannot be resold, Step Right reserves the right to deduct the retail value of the promotional item from the refund.
If returning an item that qualified for a free promotional product causes the order value to fall below the promotional threshold, the free promotional item must also be returned or its retail value will be deducted from the refund.
This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this Site (including text, images, branding, and logos) belongs to Step Right or is used under licence.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses
- we are not responsible for delays or issues outside our control (courier delays, website downtime, etc.)
- our total liability relating to any order will not exceed the amount paid for that order
Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights under Irish or EU consumer law.
14. Privacy
Your use of this Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal data.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
The latest version will always be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date shown at the top.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
